With our partners we are working to create a holistic ecosystem-based management approach that provides for:

• the interdependence of healthy ecosystems and a strong blue economy
• the intertwining of science and mātauranga Māori
• the need to develop tools and resources that marine managers of all kinds can utilise to inform, guide and support their decision making and activities
